Tithing in the church is just another of the many religious myths and false doctrines that abound within many denominations today. As knowledge is increased about the Gospel, many people, from all denominations, are beginning to understand that tithing is a false doctrine promoted by incompetent or corrupt religious organizations. At some point, this debate will become more widespread and problematic for the church. It is already starting to cause problems.

It's time for change. It's time pastors stick with the Word of God and stop taking God's Word out of context. It's time pastors stop changing God's Word. It's time pastor's stop replacing God's Word with man's word.

Ask your pastor to back-up his teaching of the tithe with scripture. Ask your pastor to show you in the Word of God where God ever authorized the Christian Church to accept His tithe. Ask your pastor to show you in the Word of God where God ever instructed you to take His tithe to the Christian Church. Ask your pastor to show you where God ever commanded anyone to tithe on their income. Ask your pastor why he doesn't teach and follow the three-year tithe. Ask your pastor why he teaches the law of tithing when, according to the Word, the law ended at the cross. Ask your pastor why he teaches Malachi 3:8-10, regarding robbing God, when those verses specifically refer to the Levitical Priesthood (Levitical tithe). Ask your pastor why he thinks Abraham's tithe can be brought forward into the New Testament and to show you where God commanded Abraham to tithe. Ask your pastor to show you just one example where Abraham tithed on his own income or wealth. Ask your pastor to show you where, in the New Testament, tithing was ever taught.

Comments received by email on the book Tithing Today:
· I have finished your book since sending that last note and it was great!
· I especially like your examination of the definitions of assets and income; EXCELLENT!!!
· I really like how you believe Hebrews 7 is actually showing a contrast, rather than a straight-across comparison and I love your emphasis on the detail of income versus simply "money". And I'm particularly amazed at how you summed all of that up in a 29 page book!
